STUDY ON THE EQUIVALENT MODEL OF PASSENGER CAR WINDOW ADHESION

With the development of new window frame materials, a new method of window fixation, window bonding technology, has been developed. At present ,domestic and foreign luxurious passenger car window basically uses that glue technology, and popularizes to city bus gradually.


1、Adhesive body material

The main material of adhesive is adhesive glue. At present, the main domestic passenger car factories mostly adopt the adhesive sealant imported from the United States, Japan, Switzerland and other countries, its adhesive performance and strength can meet the technical requirements of the product process. Polyurethane sealant is a kind of adhesive sealing material based on polyurethane. The adhesive mechanism is that the paste colloid solidifies to form a highly elastic substance by reacting with the moisture in the atmosphere.


2、Adhesive bonding technology

To be bonded to the surface must be removed rust layer, paint layer and oil, and then use clean cotton or brush, felt dipped in with supporting activator (clean water) coated surface, in the greenhouse air drying 2m in above.

Glue adhesive tape (width is greater than 12 cm) around the seam and wipe it with a soft cloth .Use clean absorbent cotton or wool brush, wool felt dips in with the primer of form a complete set even daub surface, ply is in 20 micron left and right sides, greenhouse air dries 5 minutes of above. You would better cut off the glue filling and the back cover, then put into the squeeze gun.

After cutting the plastic nozzle into a certain Angle profile according to different sizing positions (FIG. 1), screw it on the front end of the squeezer gun, open the adjustable button of compressed air and evenly apply the rubber layer on the surface of the primer in sequence. Lap joint -- after applying glue for 3 ~ 5m in, apply the covering object (window frame or glass) to the predetermined part and gently press it to evenly spread the adhesive layer between the two bonded planes and fix it so that it cannot be displaced from each other.

After 24 hours, the clamping device was removed and butt joint was carried out. After 10min, when the glue is slightly dry, please use a scraper or a shaped spatula to stick to the surface along the end of the glue seam and quickly wipe it. At 10min, it is time to tear the adhesive paper gently away from both sides of the adhesive seam. If the defect of glue seam is found, it should be repaired in time.


3、Quality and main defects of glue joints

After bonding, the entire width of the glue seam shall be uniform, the allowable error shall not exceed 1mm, and the allowable difference between the two joints shall not exceed 0.5mm. The glue seam shall be smooth and even with consistent height without obvious defects. The main defect forms are as follows: (1) the surface is uneven with rough lines and depressions, as shown in figure 2 ;(2) gliomas, pores, fractures and sag, as shown in figure 3; (3) undercut and unfilled, as shown in FIG. 4; (4) overflows and frilled edges, as shown in figure 5.
